The Disney Institute

Employees who choose to pursue personal professional development via The Disney Institute may qualify for 100% reimbursement and become eligible to attend in-person instructor-led training.

The Disney Institute produces world-class leadership and customer service training for Fortune 500 companies all over the world. We have decided to give employees the opportunity to tap into this training to grow professionally and personally. Much of the content can be found online but the true career changing opportunity is experiencing a Disney Institute course in person at Walt Disney World.

In order to participate in this portion of the program, employees must register for, pay for, and complete an official Disney Institute online course on their own time.  Once the employee has completed the course, they may apply for 100% reimbursement from Lake Charles Toyota.

Employees may apply for this reimbursement by scheduling a meeting to review the course with Corey Tarver.  The employee should bring a copy of their certificate of completion for the course. 

In order to be considered for entry into a Disney Institute Onsite Professional Development Course, which includes lodging at a Disney Resort, behind-the-scenes access to Magic Kingdom Park, and park tickets, an employee must have completed at least three Disney Institute Online Courses. Qualifying by taking online courses gets you on this list but it does not guarantee entry into an onsite course.

Terms and Conditions:

  • Topics of training should be discussed with your department manager or a Tarver in advance to ensure good application to your position and possible future positions and to guarantee qualification for reimbursement.

  • On Demand courses are the only ones that qualify for unconditional reimbursement. Live courses require pre-approval from your department head or a Tarver to qualify for reimbursement.

  • $1000.00 per employee limit unless exception approved by a Tarver. Training required by your department head does not count toward this limit.
